EVERETT HOPKINS

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Everett has always had a passion for sports as he played collegiate football for Hampton University. Everett virtually grew up in a legal environment as, from a young age, he watched his dad started and flourish as a solo practitioner in his own legal practice. As a result, Everett has had plenty of experience with the law and has developed a passion to rectify the vast injustices and over-policing he and his community face daily.

With over 12 years of experience in the legal field, Everett’s mission has always been synonymous with that of Attorneys with Swag – empower and educate the masses with the law. As such, Everett is currently a public defender making a difference in the lives of each of his clients and educating them to ensure that they do not become stuck in the revolving door of the justice system. 

Everett is the co-host of Attorneys with Swag (the Show) and The Jury’s Out podcast. He also is a major contributor as a musical artist for all original music created by Attorneys with Swag.
